Vintage pop-up booth at Penny Lane is LIVE now through June 8

I'm officially in retail!

What: Lisa Baumann Design Vintage Pop-up

Where: Penny Lane Antique Mall, 427 W Holly St, Bellingham, Washington

When: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through June 8

I'd been planning to do a one-week pop-up booth for a while that was supposed to start today. But when I went to Penny Lane Antique Mall in Bellingham Friday afternoon to see the vendor booth again, it was already empty and ready for me to get in there. Scrambling and hustling ensued (why is it always this way lol) and we managed to get many of these objects of affection into the space and styled in time for weekend shopping traffic!

Lisa Baumann Design, based in beautiful Bellingham, Washington, is a full-service interior design business I launched in 2024 that includes reimagining your spaces - from one room to your entire estate. In working with people to determine their style and add personality, I’ve gotten fully into sourcing and scouring flea markets, estate sales and thrift stores to find the charming, special items that do more than just sit there and look cool.

These objects of affection hold meaning and story for people. They can spark a warm memory, make you smile and pique the interest of a visitor in a way that a big box store item mostly cannot. In short, curated, cool items that speak to you and not only to the latest trend can help make your dwelling feel like a reflection of you and what makes you happy.

I was super stoked to see yesterday that things had sort of flown off the shelves Saturday with one employee saying, "You sold a ton of stuff." Many thanks to her for restyling the booth before I got there yesterday.

That 1984 Pike Place Market poster and gold cast iron mirror seen in the photos above (as am I in a Where's Waldo way) are among the things already sold but there's still a lot to shop and I'll be adding more cherished goodies all week. If you're around, get down there and check it out. I'm not really hanging out there but I'm happy to meet you there if you like. And thanks to those who stopped in yesterday - it was awesome to see you! Cheers!
